Seeking Interns

TCP.in is seeking student journalists to work as interns from all over India.

TCP Media is the first company in the country to be publishing blog portals, which is what www.TCP.in is.

We are seeking interns who will work closely with us on not only TCP, but other blog portals that we have set up as given below. What we want to achieve is a new form of journalism, something not practised in India, and most of the world yet.

Should you be interested in working with us in your spare time, let us know with your name, college, email and telephone number. Does not matter if you are no longer in college; you can still work. Write to editor@tcp.in .

We will adopt a rigorous selection process to select a core team of about 10-15 interns. Work will be tough, but you will get great opportunities to learn working with professional journalists; the experience will be something no classroom or course can offer.

By the way, did you know that some of you who have been writing for TCP as students have now got jobs with leading newspapers and TV channels? Trust me, the experience and learning at TCP would have helped polish their talents.

Interested? Write to us by April 27, 2006. Let us know when you are finished with the exams.

Write for TCP.in & Earn

Would you like to write for TCP and get paid in the process besides building up a portfolio?

Here is a great opportunity for you to do so...This is how it works:
  1. If you have any ideas, tell us at editor@tcp.in . Once we approve the same, go ahead with your research and write.
  2. The best articles also get published in The Campus Paper, our monthly magazine targetted at the 16+ youth community.
  3. We normally pay Rs 1 - 1.50 per published word, but can work special rates in certain cases.
  4. You may send us pieces even without prior approval, but don't be disappointed if we don't select the same for any reason.
  5. We do not pay automatically...Only those who we approve payment in advance get paid.
  6. We will also send you guidelines if you want to write for us.
  7. The offer to pay is only for those resident in India as we pay in Rupees only. You may be of any nationality though. Overseas writers may send pieces to write but we will not be able to pay them

Cheers
